Garden Friends (May 18th, 2025)

A$220.00

Date: May 18th, 2025 (Sunday)
Time: 1:00pm-5:00pm

Workshop Description:

We will be making 2 colourful garden birds, each composed of two, 3mm layers of glass.  The top layer will be coloured, and the base will be clear.  We will use 3mm fibre paper to create a reserve space for our garden stake to be inserted.

There will be a selection of 6.75" x 4'' ( 17.5 cm x 10cm) panels of glass in a variety of colours, for the birds body, top layer.  Also clear panels of the same size for the bottom.  Additionally, there will be glass panels of 2" x 5 " (5cm x 13cm) to choose for the wings.

A vast selection of colours will be available for tail feathers, beaks, and body decorations; including prefused dots and vitrigraph circles.

There is a requirement to have completed either the Mini Fuser, or the Intro to Glass Fusing Workshops - as we will be cutting gentle curves.  We will also be using the flatbed grinder to make sure the 2 layers of the birds' body will match up.

$220/person

*No shows and late cancellations are not refundable. There must be 2-weeks notice to give adequate time to fill your spot.
